Crazy Eddy
If you haven’t read about “crazy eddy” before you should check it out on kitelife.com (2nd article here) and the kitebuilder.com forums. Terry Thillman of Calgary Alberta wanted to build an arch using the crazy quilting method of pieceing scraps together. Terry asked fellow builders on the kitebuilder.com forums to send him scraps. Some sent Terry scraps and others decided to send kite skins. The project kept growing and growing and the last I heard the kite had over 100 kites and kites have come from all over Canada, U.S.A and parts of Europe..
